Sound Installation for Free Street Manifesto by “Allianz der freien Straße” (Free Street Alliance), a creative-scientific cooperation of three Berlin institutions whose members include the think tank Paper Planes e.V., mobility researchers from the Berlin Social Science Center, and citizen science experts from TU Berlin.

The design was created by recording different parts and activities in the city with a zoom recorder and later compiling a sound scape that has all the sounds familiar for a city - but without cars.

The end result is a peacefull atmosphere where natural and man-made sounds intertwine seamlessly.
